Trying to Fix it All.

I'm so messed up. Like seriously. I'm torn in all the wrong places: insecure, not confident, awkward, fearful and not intelligent enough. Yes, I'm a critic. And I'm even harder on myself than anyone else. So like last week, I had a great conversation with God inside my car. And it got me to thinking: I can't do it alone. I need Him in my life. So I'm giving up all secular music, cursing (bad habit.) and bad thoughts (I tend to have a lot of those.), and judging people. My ideals are so misconstrued to fit the aches and wants fo this world. And this isn't my home; my home is with the Lord. And I've heard all these words time and time again. Possibly more from myself to others; but I mean it. I need to try. Though I can't fix everything in one day, just attempting to prove myself worthy of God's gracious love is a step ahead of where I am now.

Back from Cali.

Had an amazing vacation with the family in LA. We went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, tours of the star's homes, and Santa Monica Pier. Just got back this morning. I've always been a bit wary of California, holding onto the misconception of California being hotter than Texas, and having frequent earthquakes. Boy was I WRONG. About the weather, I mean. God blessed us enough that we didn't experience any earthquakes or rumbles. The weather was stunning. Cold at night, and breezy in the afternoon. Just like Vancouver, come to think of it. And the PEOPLE. Wow. Everyone was SO FIT. When I saw a somewhat obese person, it was just a relief to know that I wasn't alone lol.

The women were stereotypical to the American dream: fake blondes, very tan, minimal clothes. And those that were fully clothed were dressed very well. Think heels to the grocery store well. Lips and noses made perfect by plastic surgeons. Barely a lick of fat on ANYONE. D:

Men: Well dressed, athletic (I was at Muscle Beach.), tan, often gay-looking. I couldn't tell the difference between homosexual or metrosexuals. Then again, I barely talked to anyone other than my family. So many attractive men! Unlike here in Texas; or Houston to be exact. :(

The styles were so different: hipster, preppy, beachy, casual, business...and the list goes on. When I saw a clique, they were almost all dressed alike. Girl sporting tattoos without embarrassment; men with long hair and headbands. Wow. Is all I can say. The competition is something serious there; everyone is practically perfect.

So in a nutshell: Everyone is perfect in California. I have a lot of work to do.

Puffy 3tones Blue

iFairy Moe Moe Brown

So... I just got on Fobby Barbie about 2 weeks ago and ordered. (Another product of late night restlessness.) And I got these 3 lens.

The Puffy 3 tones brown is pretty big stuff. It changes your entire eye color to this piercing blue; and recently on Shuntara's BlogSpot, she posted a review and video. The blue is breath-taking. And I said to myself: "I MUST HAVE. NOW." April Fool Romance posted a review as well on her BlogSpot, and the color has grown on me.

The Puffy 3tones brown has this hazel-ish glow to it. Seeing a how my eyes are naturally poop brown, this will be a nice change. I haven't seen a review for the lens on dark skin, so I'll go ahead and review this on for sure. ^.^ Jeban's review. It isn't in English.

Really excited for the Moe Moe Brown; because in pictures they give a beautiful hazel look to dark eyes. They don't look natural; then again neither am I. ;) *Not a sexual innuendo.* As you can see, these look gorgeous on her skintone. Really refreshing color on her. I'm hoping to emit the same effect.

Amazon haul.

Sigma Essential KitThe Sigma brushes, on Amazon

I just purchased these Sigma brushes (The Essential Kit); looking so forward to their arrival. I've heard all the raves and hype about these brushes, and finally took it upon myself to YOLO. (It was pretty late, and I tend to online shop during the night.) *hangs head in shame* The total price was 100.10, 89.00 + shipping. What I'm really wanting to try out is the stipple brush. I have one; but not of amazing quality. And with an extra one, I have more room to do fun activities! Haha.

So, I also got some braiding hair because my braids have been in since January. Don't judge me. :( I've been away at school, and haven't found anyone who does hair up there. Well. But I got my sides redone in March; not that that makes it any better. But honestly, my hair is a hot mess at the moment, and I'd like to take all of it out! So I came up with this brilliant idea of a mermaid hair and braids combo. What I wanna do is: half of my braids will be regular black. And half of the remaining half will be dark blue. And the remaining quarter will be light blue. Now that I'm looking at it; I'm beginning to doubt myself... But whatever. YOLO.

I'll have reviews up soon. And possibly pictures of my hair..if it works out. :)
